Recently I got a noticeable pimple on my face. There was a time when I would have been so self-conscious about it and been wondering if others were looking at it. Instead, the other day I made a little joke about it to myself: “Wow, huge face on my pimple” ^_^.
Talking dermatology today to make a relevant point (honest). You see, before that statement would have been something like — “Oh no, there’s a huge pimple on my face!” when in reality it wasn’t that bad in the first place.
When my thoughts try to wander to those places of insecurity, especially over things that are so small, I think about how much worse it could be. One pimple is not the end of the world and neither is *insert whatever small thing you’re currently freaking out about here*.
