Wow, I kind of can’t believe I’ve done this 60 times already! *Holds award up* First of all I want to thank the literary gods, the universe and of course all my wonderful followers and supporters ^_^. Seriously though, I remember when this blog was a mess of ideas and when Friday Highlights was ‘first conceptualised.’.’ Now it’s become a part of my routine and one that I truly enjoy. So THANK YOU ALL so much again!
Okay, so I’ve been faced with some serious spam in the last weeks and every time I think the battle’s been won they’re back. Otherwise . . .
1) ‘Howl’ (The Wardens: Episode 2) is available on Amazon, so if you’re a fan of contemporary/urban fantasy, you should definitely get caught up on this short story series :). It’s been getting positive reviews so far, which is making me even more excited about it. *Does dance*.
2) Lust (The Wardens: Episode 3) will be available this weekend. However, as my formatter (@AngelaFormats — awesome eBook formatter!) is currently pretty sick, there is a slim possibility that it may be available a few days later on Tuesday November, 19. Still awaiting word from her, so will update this post when I know for sure. Otherwise, as was stated in earlier posts, it should be available Sunday, November 17, 2013 (this Sunday).
3) My writing partner, editor and friend P.R. Steal is currently in the hospital, so that was a little bit of a tough pill to swallow recently. However, I’m believing he’ll have a speedy recovery. We’ve worked together for a few years now and he’s fantastic. Additionally, his illness has put some of our future projects on hold, but I should have more updates on those in the very near future.
4) On the workout: The six month parade is still underway and now in week three, I feel pretty great. I’m back in the rhythm and continue to see new, positive results at the end of each week. I’m not eating perfectly, but try to make most meals healthy choices and, I’m calorie counting to some extent as well. I try not to exceed 1400 each day.
Those are the highlights from this week. Enjoy the weekend and remember to be safe, happy and share the good vibes with others :).
N.B: Those of you who’ve been with me for six months or longer, please note that the original Friday format has changed from featuring a blogger each Friday, to once a month. You can also read about some of the crazy things that have happened in my life using the keywords Jackie Reveals. Additionally, check out Caribbean Dos and Don’ts ‘here’.
