Friday Highlights 46

stepback2Sometimes you have to step back, remember what’s important and then move forward. I’ve been doing that the last couple weeks, which has led to the ongoing process of revamping various areas of my life for more efficient, progressive and overall happy living.

Quickdates

typing21) The week started with filming for hours, a tiring but rewarding experience in the end. I’m truly looking forward to sharing the results in a few months :).

2) I’ve been writing again. Well let me rephrase, it’s not  that I stopped exactly, but I wasn’t writing much and was devoting lots of time to editing instead. Sure this is an important part as well, but I wasn’t doing it for all the right reasons. As I wasn’t allowing myself to write (because of various reasons), even when the words were flowing in my head, I started to feel empty and sad and at first I wasn’t sure why. Since I’ve realised the problem, I’ve been keeping it up once more and enjoying getting back to the point where all this *gestures at blog, business, etc* evolved from :).

Let's hope it doesn't come to this lol.
Let’s hope it doesn’t come to this lol.

3) More filming to end the week, still as tiring as ever, but I think viewers will appreciate the eclectic blend that’ll be found on my YouTube channel in the future.

4) Amazon still hasn’t fixed the issue with posting my reviews and after almost ten emails in two months, I’m kind of leaving it up to the Universe to steer it in the right direction. Either way and VERY thankfully, sales have continued to be steady for Secrets of the Tenari, especially from UK buyers. This is kind of surprising to me as I expected it to have more sales from the USA. Go figure.

That’s all for now, but you can read about some of the crazy things that have happened in my life using the keywords Jackie Reveals and, travelling to the Caribbean this summer? Check out Caribbean Dos and Don’ts ‘here’. Be safe, happy and share the good vibes with others.

SotT Front CoverN.B: From now on, I’ll be featuring blogs that I really enjoy once a month instead of every Friday. My YA paranormal/fantasy Secrets of the Tenari (Book 1 in the Tenari Trilogy) can be found ‘here’ on Amazon and, if you’d like to submit your book for review contact below, or in the comments section.
