That was Once . . . by James Herbert and it was a fantastic story. As I leave you with a snippet from a current WIP, tell me, what is one of your all time favourite opening lines from a book you’ve read?
~ She was doing it again. They knew it was her but could do nothing to stop it. She was after all Vekiri and they had already lost. Trapped in fabricated worlds of her making. They could hear her laughter. It enveloped them. John ran frantically through the mental maze he was secured in. His bare feet which only moments before had chased their way over soft grass, now felt the uncomfortable cold of hard metal. I truly enjoy writing this science fiction story, but sometimes it’s easy to feel like there’s so much to write and so little time. However, there’s at least one of my stories that has been freed of dust and delivered to virtual shelves. Check out my YA paranormal/fantasy Secrets of the Tenari ‘here’ on Amazon 🙂.
