Monday Insights: Stop & Think

IMG_1976Taking time out from talking, listening — conversations in general, in order to stop and think, isn’t just for the tough decisions. Many of us tend to feel that the only time we should really have those long discussions with ourselves, is if we’re on the brink of making a life-changing choice.

Over the years I’ve realised that allowing myself quality time with my thoughts just for the heck of it, helps me in a number of ways. When we do this, our minds literally open up and though it can get a bit tricky as sometimes it digs up thoughts we’d rather not have, at the end of it we’re feeling better and more in tune with ourselves.

Enjoy your think-time readers, you’d be surprised how much you might learn ^_^.

  1. coffee/tea sometimes helps kick start the thinking. 😀
I agree, I find that if I don’t have time to think, process stuff, I become more reactionary rather than proactive, and then I get overwhelmed, especially if I’ve been sucked into cyberspace and ignoring my think time. 🙂

    1. Sorry I’m responding so late, I meant to and somehow it slipped my mind.

That’s exactly it, especially as you said when we take our daily trips into the virtual world, where they’re so many people and things to see and interact with.

Thanks so much for commenting and I hope the rest of your week is great :).
