Taking time out from talking, listening — conversations in general, in order to stop and think, isn’t just for the tough decisions. Many of us tend to feel that the only time we should really have those long discussions with ourselves, is if we’re on the brink of making a life-changing choice.
Over the years I’ve realised that allowing myself quality time with my thoughts just for the heck of it, helps me in a number of ways. When we do this, our minds literally open up and though it can get a bit tricky as sometimes it digs up thoughts we’d rather not have, at the end of it we’re feeling better and more in tune with ourselves.
